Sherilyn is a social entrepreneur and is passionate about enabling people to be the best they can be.
In 2010 Sherilyn founded the Marketing Hall of Legends of which she is Chairman and created The Marketing Academy a unique non-profit organisation dedicated to the development of emerging talent from the world of marketing & advertising. The Marketing Academy identifies nurtures and develops exceptional talent in the field of marketing, advertising and communications and is a forum for CEO’s, CMO’s marketing experts, business leaders and coaches to inspire, develop and mentor an entire generation of future leaders.
In 2011 she received the CIM Women in Marketing ‘Special Award for Contribution to Marketing’ in recognition of her work with The Marketing Academy.
In her commercial life Sherilyn is a leading figure in the world of Executive Search & Talent Management. As owner and CEO of Executive search firm Highfield Human Solutions she has enjoyed a 20 year career as a head hunter regularly consulting Boards on attracting, retaining and developing the very best leadership talent across all board functions and industry sectors. Sherilyn spent 8 years as a Board EVP for IMD International Search Group a global role which included responsibility for brand, comms, PR and events across 23 countries and is a Non Exec Director of leadership development company The Living Leader.
Sherilyn became a trustee of Plant for Peace in 2012.
